Patience with Others and Self

When we experience a lack of understanding or unwillingness to grasp an issue we often want to solve the issue immediately,

Usually, it simply doesn't happen that way, does it?

In my own case, I am learning concepts that I wish I had known many years ago. It is easy to get discouraged instead of seeing God's grace in opening my eyes at this time.

Is God surprised? I'm pretty sure both of us would laugh at that!

If God is not surprised at a individuals reticence in grasping an issue, you and I certainly shouldn't either. God sees eternally not on our schedule.

Share when moved by the spirit in Love. Leave the timing up to God. Our job is to share as God moves us. We never know when a person, by the power of the Holy Spirit, grasps something we shared many years before.

Leave the responses up to God and His timing. It may be hard to do at times. We must remember that in the end, it's is God's job!

"HATE"

The word hate has become such a divisive word in our world today. The word "hate" is often applied to whole groups of people. Too many time it is used to characterise people that differ in perception.

This word hate becomes so all-encompassing. The individual is explained in one dimension only.

A person may be appreciated by 95% of their life and but be labelled by one simple word.

While is is true that God charges hearts often uses us in the process. We are most likely to help others into the kingdom via loving them, listening to them and finding truly where they actually stand. I may likely be surprised on where they are coming from.

Grace In the Midst of our Divided Nation

Two sayings Come to my Mind this Morning

The first is a verse of scripture that I have discussed before in my Seasoned Grace Blog before.

Proverbs 25:11A Word Fitly Spoken is like Apples of Gold In Settings of Silver

Let the words savour in your mind a bit. Stop right here! Think clearly about the process.  To mak sure our are indeed, Words Fitly Spoken, they must be Carefully Thought Out and Crafted.

How are our words assimilated? How will they likely be received?

Do I pray before speaking or writing?  Do my words reflect the Mind of Christ?

This verse is telling! Are my words conducive to be received in Love and Grace?

The second is a simple response to a daily question we often ask of others. The question, asked out of courtesy, is "How are you?".

Dave Ramsey always responds, "Better than I Deserve".  Do we truly grasp how much we are Blessed of God in spite of ourselves? It then makes sense that our Words are so Important.

Our Words must carry an Attitude of Love and Grace.

How important our words to all mankind today are. I must confess, I make the mistake of failing to observe my speech without regard to the wisdom of these words of scripture.

How our Fractured Hearts need Words Fitly Spoken today!!
